Hi everyone!

So, it's not long 'til July (or the very end of June for those going to London on the 30th), and I'm so excited!!

And I just can't hide it.

I'm about to lose control.

And I think I like it.

Sooo... I wondered whether anyone would like to make any plans for the evenings? Particularly on the 30th, I thought it might be nice for as many of us as possible to meet up somewhere... what does everyone think? :-)

I've just had me fingers crossed that the hotel's going to have a nice enough bar for us all to chill out and have a drrink in.

If not, cant be too far a wander to find a yates or a weatherspoons or something.

But aye, count me in.

So at the minute, the suggestions are:

* Chill in the hotel bar/ find a local

* Hit London Town dressed as characters from the Lord of the Rings

Clearly, the Fellows like a beverage!

We're staying at the hotel Ibis on commercial street, so chilling sounds like a plan! A lot of people seem to be staying on the 30th too which should be good!

If it's true we are staying there it looks pretty classy.

However, dressing up as LOTR characters - nerd brigade and also, I'm paranoid about getting stabbed in London anyway and isn't it just making yourself a target if you dress up?!??!

Hotel bar (open 24 hours!) sounds good.  Slight problem that PMGF have my passport and that's my only form of ID so I'm screwed if they id me...

Oh well, should be fun.

They probably won't id you seeing as all applicants to the PMGF had to between 18 and 19.

No reason we couldn't go out on the 1st and have a drrink in the hotel on the 30th.
I'm trying to save moolah atm like mind, so might just have to be discreet with a 2 litre bottle of strongbow or something.

I'm applying for a citizenship card, you can get them next day :) Better to get one than have no drinks!

1.  Yeah hopefully that might make sense and we all don't get ID'd.

2.  Who said Strongbow?  We've obviously got some VERY CLASSY people on this Fellowship hahaha!

3. Citizenship Card.  For goodness sake, I'm from Yorkshire you know.  Why would I be bothered to pay money for a form of ID that I'm only going to use like once??  Honestly haha!

4. Not that bothered if I have to stick to lemonade anyway.  I'll just watch everyone else disgrace themselves and laugh at the carnage and confusion the next day.

5.  Why did I write a list?

I am! And lol I do adore lotr, but don't feel like carrying a sword/bow/costume to London..... can the girlies just wear dressy gear and hang out alongside various elves/dwarves/princes/hobbits/trolls? :)

as for ID... I've lost my provisional... ahahahahaha O.o

I seriously think the costumes is a bad idea!  Might just try and look fairly smart.

If ID's a problem personally I'm not too bothered... hopefully I will be able to stand people's company without having to numb myself with alcohol!
